Icon Rewind is a time machine for your phone app icons

Having faded away as I come across the current trend of flat design, I expect developers to stick with it when designing their application icons. It's hard to admit, but it's certainly an improvement in the 3D beauty you use to dominate the event - otherwise. But if you're still struggling to let go of the past, there may be a solution.

All you need to do is restore the old icons to open the Icon Rewind from your mobile device, click the icon you like, and follow the steps. As soon as you do that, an icon will appear on your screen. It goes without saying that Icon Rewind only works on applications that you already have on your device.

When you click on the retro icon, it redirects your request from your browser to the original app. So a shortcut with extra steps. It's not the best solution to talk sensibly, but this is about stalgia, isn't it?

Another downside is that there may be an additional "Chrome" icon (whichever browser you use) under the actual shortcut. That story is at least on my Google Pixel 4, but I can't test Icon Rewind on other operating systems (or older versions of Android).
